Bio
Nedda Ghandi is the founding member of Ghandi Deeter Blackham, a firm she established in 2012 to offer a unique, client-centered approach to legal services. Her vision was to create a law firm where clients are treated like family, and their needs are addressed with empathy and expertise. Before founding her own firm, Nedda worked alongside her partners at another prominent Las Vegas law firm starting in 2007, where they developed a strong professional synergy.
Nedda is a seasoned negotiator, litigator, and mediator, focusing her craft in family law, bankruptcy law, and business law. She has a wealth of courtroom experience, having tried numerous cases that underscore her dedication to protecting her clients’ rights. Known for her tenacity and strategic insight, Nedda ensures that every client receives the highest level of representation. This unwavering commitment has earned her a sterling reputation and a loyal client base that frequently refers friends and family to her firm.
As a sophisticated trial lawyer, Nedda believes that family law cases are often best resolved in private mediation when appropriate. She understands that clients having a say in their outcome is often more beneficial than a judge making decisions for them. While she strategically crafts each case to be trial-ready, she is also adept at seeking out negotiations and settlements to achieve the best possible results for her clients. Nedda is level-headed and resolute, never backing down from her clients’ positions, yet always considering the cost-benefit analysis of each case to ensure practical and favorable outcomes.
With an undergraduate degree in accounting, Nedda possesses a unique understanding of numbers that many lawyers lack. Her experience working in the accounting field at KPMG, one of the Big 5 firms at the time (now part of the Big 4), further enhances her ability to navigate complex financial aspects of her cases, providing a significant advantage in matters involving detailed financial considerations.
As a native Nevadan originally from Lake Tahoe, Nedda brings a deep connection to the community she serves. She splits her professional time between the firm’s offices in Las Vegas and Reno, offering her expertise to a broad range of clients across the state.
In addition to her distinguished career as a successful attorney, Nedda is an avid golfer and long-time member of the Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas. She enjoys participating in golfing excursions, recently playing three of the renowned courses at Pebble Beach, further honing her skills while networking with fellow enthusiasts. Nedda also engages in pickleball multiple times a week, maintaining an active lifestyle that mirrors her dedication and energy in her legal practice.
Nedda has a strong passion for animal welfare, particularly her rescue dogs, often sharing photos and videos that reflect her commitment to compassion and community. In her leisure time, she values quality moments with family and friends, as well as visiting her favorite getaway in Newport Beach, California, for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Nedda’s extensive professional accomplishments highlight her commitment to excellence in her legal practice, establishing her as a dedicated advocate for her clients. Her focus on delivering impactful results is complemented by her broad range of personal interests, enriching her approach to the law. This work-life balance not only enhances her effectiveness as an attorney but also enables her to bring a unique perspective to her work, benefiting those she represents. Nedda remains steadfast in her mission to make a positive difference in her clients’ lives through her unwavering dedication and professional integrity.
