Nedda Ghandi, Esq.

In Memoriam

Nedda GhandiWith profound admiration and heavy hearts, we honor the life and legacy of Nedda Ghandi, a remarkable legal mind, a compassionate leader, and an unwavering beacon of kindness and strength. Nedda passed away on January 8, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, after facing breast cancer with extraordinary courage and grace. Born on September 5, 1979, in Iran, she became an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Nedda’s journey was one of exceptional achievement and boundless generosity. She graduated from the University of San Francisco and went on to earn her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada. From the very beginning of her career, Nedda’s sharp intellect, steadfast determination, and deep commitment to her clients distinguished her among her peers.

In 2011, Nedda founded Ghandi Law Offices, transforming it through her visionary leadership into the widely respected boutique law firm of Ghandi Deeter Blackham. Her unwavering dedication to justice and her adherence to the highest ethical standards earned her the esteem of clients, colleagues, and judges alike.
Nedda’s contributions extended far beyond the courtroom. As President of the Clark County Bar Association in 2022, she championed initiatives that strengthened legal services and supported the broader community. Her active involvement in the Nevada Justice Association demonstrated her passion for empowering female trial attorneys and fostering collaboration within the legal profession. As a mentor, Nedda shaped the careers of many, generously sharing her expertise and encouraging others to pursue their dreams with integrity and perseverance.

Her life was not defined solely by her professional accomplishments. Nedda was a deeply spiritual individual with a rich array of interests. A lifelong advocate for animal welfare, she cherished her two beloved dogs and gave her voice to those who could not speak for themselves. She found joy and connection in sports like golf and pickleball and took pride in leading her firm’s annual sporting clay tournament, often earning accolades for her skill. Whether celebrating with loved ones or exchanging ideas with new acquaintances, Nedda’s warmth and authenticity left a mark on everyone she met.

Nedda is survived by her devoted mother, Mariam Ghandi, and her beloved sister, Elle Ghandi, along with countless friends, colleagues, and admirers whose lives were forever enriched by her presence. They will remember her as a steadfast source of strength and as a woman who lived her life with purpose, compassion, and a deep desire to make the world a better place.

As we bid farewell to Nedda Ghandi, we celebrate a life that was both beautiful and transformative. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.
