Bio
China Amie is an estate planning and probate attorney who helps Nevada individuals and families plan for the future and settle the affairs of loved ones with clarity and care. At Ghandi Deeter Blackham, her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and guardianship, areas where thoughtful legal guidance can ease some of life’s most difficult transitions.
Before joining Ghandi Deeter Blackham, China spent nearly eight years at Escobar & Associates in Las Vegas, where she began as a law clerk and went on to serve as an associate attorney. She managed a full caseload of probate, trust administration, and estate planning matters from the first consultation through final resolution. Her work included preparing wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and related documents, as well as representing personal representatives, trustees, beneficiaries, and heirs in formal and informal probate proceedings and contested estate matters.
China brings a practical, resolution-minded approach to disputes. Her mediation experience began at the Thomas & Mack Mediation Clinic, where she served as a student mediator, and she has since negotiated settlements of probate and trust disputes through mediation and direct negotiation whenever possible. Clients value her attention to detail, whether she is drafting a comprehensive estate plan or preparing the petitions, accountings, and inventories required under Nevada probate law and local court rules.
China earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she graduated with Highest Pro Bono Honors, received an academic scholarship, and was named to the Dean’s List. She also received CALI Awards for earning the highest grade in both Federal Indian Law and Property. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UNLV.
Service to the community has been part of China’s work since law school. She volunteered with the Family Law Self-Help Center in Las Vegas, helping members of the public understand family law issues and complete court forms, and she taught a guardianship course through the Boyd School of Law’s Community Service Program. That experience shapes how she works with clients today, explaining each step in plain terms so families can make confident decisions.
China’s knowledge of Nevada probate and estate law, together with her steady and approachable manner, makes her a valued member of the Ghandi Deeter Blackham team. She is committed to making sure every client feels informed, prepared, and supported throughout the legal process.
